Our buildings as standard are constructed from high quality Scandinavian Redwood cladding. These slowly grown trees produce a much denser, higher quality, close grain and a more stable timber than the quickly grown whitewoods which are much more susceptible to dead knots. We use four different types of cladding, each with specific structural qualities, finishes and prices:

  1. TGV (Tongue and Groove)
    16mm x 125mm finished (ex19mm x 125mm)
This is a very sturdy, thick option with a neat finish
  2. Shiplap
    12mm x 125mm finished (ex16mm x 125mm)
This is a more standard style of cladding for sheds.

  3. Our Superior Workshops are clad in our unique shiplap profile which is 20mm x 135mm finished.

  4. Thermowood 20mm x 110mm finished

Thermowood (20mm X 110mm Finished)

We offer the option of Thermowood for the customer who needs a maintenance-free building. This extremely durable and stable timber is produced by heat-treating Finnish-grown pine to temperatures in excess of 200 degrees centigrade. During the heat treatment chemical and structural changes occur within the timber which alter and improve some of its basic characteristics, making it ideal for use as cladding in very exposed areas or in areas inaccessible for maintenance.

Our buildings are delivered and installed by our friendly, experienced and professional fitters at a mutually convenient date/time.
