# Step One

PLANNING & CONSULTATION

We highly recommend that you view our buildings to assess the high quality of the build for yourself. We have a ‘manned’ show site near Aylesbury at Hartwell Nurseries with a wide range of our buildings demonstrating the high quality of the walls, floor, roof, framework and overall quality of the construction.

We’re available to make site visits to assist with your choice of building and if required to advise on a suitable size/design relative to the space.

BBD are able to advise on planning issues where required and can arrange for electrics and plumbing to be fitted within your garden building.

# Step Two

DESIGN & APPROVAL

As well as our standard BBD Leisure Buildings range, we also specialise in the design of bespoke garden buildings to customer specifications from professional workshops to all-year-round garden offices/gyms or hobby rooms and can advise if you need planning permission from your local council.

We ask that customers take responsibility to provide a flat, level, solid and correctly sized base prior to the installation of any building but we are always happy to offer this service on request (add-on cost). Customers must also advise us of any access restrictions, thus avoiding unexpected difficulties and allowing for the smooth installation of their garden building.

Before any works commence on site and for our mutual peace of mind even minor works have written confirmation and larger projects are also accompanied by a drawing requiring sign-off prior to manufacture and installation.

# Step Three

MANUFACTURE & INSTALLATION

Our garden buildings as standard are constructed from high quality Scandinavian Redwood. These slowly grown trees produce a much denser, higher quality, close grain and a more stable timber than the quickly grown whitewoods which are much more susceptible to dead knots.

We use different types of cladding, each with specific structural qualities, finishes and prices. We also offer the option of Thermowood for the customer who needs a maintenance-free building!

All of our garden buildings are delivered and installed free of charge by our friendly, experienced and professional fitters at a mutually convenient date/time.
